I've spent more than 15 years in the nonprofit sector, beginning with several months volunteering in Pérez Zeledón, Costa Rica. That experience introduced me to community-centered work and the people behind it. Years later, while volunteering with a nonprofit in South Africa, I saw both the impact these organizations can have and how vulnerable they become when funding disappears. Those experiences continue to shape how I approach this work.
Since then, I've worked across marketing, communications, community engagement, grant writing, and development. Over time, I found that my strengths were in development work. I enjoy listening to leaders talk about their organizations, asking questions, organizing ideas, and helping bring clarity to work that can feel complex from the inside. Whether I'm supporting a new nonprofit, an established organization, or a team preparing for its next stage of growth, my role is to help connect the vision with the language, strategy, and funding needed to move it forward.
I know nonprofit leaders are balancing limited time, limited resources, and decisions that carry real weight. Hiring a consultant isn't just a financial decision—it's trusting someone with work you've invested in deeply. I take that seriously. My goal is to be someone who makes the process feel more organized, more manageable, and more collaborative, leaving your organization with stronger materials, clearer systems, and greater confidence in where you're headed.
